Have given these as birthday presents for Star Wars/Lego collectors. They were the perfect gift. Assemble the Legos and hang the planets. One recipient hung the planets from the ceiling and the other made a mobile from them. I gave small ziploc containers with the planets that were very appreciated since the planets were used as decorations
The minifigure that is included in the set is the TIE Pilot. I'm not sure why an asteroid field would be called a “planet" unless it was a destroyed Alderaan. Since Alderaan will be in a Series 4 set, maybe this set could be the remnants of the planet.
The only reason I picked this up is because a series isn't a series with one missing, meaning I only bought it because I felt I had to. The printing on the planet is sloppy, as well as the printing on the name plate. The whole concept of the asteroid field is terrible, plus the fact it just looks more like a dark planet. The Tie Bomber pilot is just the same recycled minifigure. If you aren't like me and just want certain planets or figs. No need to get this one.
This is another fine addition to the Planets series. The minifig is superb, the ship interesting and made with some great parts, and the bauble has an attractive print, even if it's not strictly speaking a planet.
I don't know what I regret more, not buying an extra or the fact that I want to in the first place. Series 3 was a tough one with no real stand out that dazzled me on all three fronts and while this entry isn't a whimpering exit, it's no bang either.
