Great set! My order arrived right on time and in good condition. It wasn't a challenging build, but that wasn't the point. The set is well designed, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. The flick missiles are unnecessary, but are fun. They really mean it when they warn you not to fire at other people. The missiles use springs, and travel a good ten feet. The wings are well secured to the cockpit part with the "tick" kind of fasteners. The wings are flat or downward, not a lot of room to fall off or break. The sets pretty close to the way it looked in the movie and R2D2s' color is darker, making him look more real. The flimsiest part is the one piece cockpit, which wiggles a bit on the pieces its fastened to when you lift it up. They used a sticker instead of real controls, but aside from that, its a cheap and fun addition to any ones Lego collection. It would be a good present, particularly for younger kids.
This is a great set for Star Wars fans to build and play with or to keep as a collector's item.
I somehow really like this set. Being a Revenge of the Sith fan, I do like the Eta-2 Interceptors, and this is a good representation of that. I'd like to see one more figure, but Anakin and R2 are very nicely detailed so they go some way to help make up for the low quantity. Playability is good, and the model is a good size for the price. I like it.
It's a(nother) Jedi Interceptor! You could've gotten a similar set in the years before, but the lower pricing seems to make this set for me. You can buy this as a gift to your nephew, niece, children, yourself or whoever because it's affordable, and because i recommend it. Not for army building though, obviously.
In the end, this set isn't nearly as bad as it probably could have been. In one sense, it's a very good upgrade to the original Anakin's Jedi Starfighter. But in another, it's a set that's very similar to one that just retired, and there are a lot more sets in the price range just begging for your money.
