The Ghost's multiple features, accessories, and four minifigures give fans of the show everything they need to recreate scenes from Rebels or imagine their own space-based stories. This is also a unique vehicle for a collector's display because of its shape and coloring.
This is a very nice and detailed Lego Star Wars Rebel model of The Ghost. That said, it does have some issues--maybe the engineers rushed it out to soon. One bad point is that you have to buy The Phantom (75048) separately. The Phantom is a smaller ship that connects facing backward on the top/back of The Ghost. In the cartoon The Phantom actually flies straight into The Ghost--connecting forward facing. I have no idea why the designing engineers decided to have it face the wrong way. Anyway bottomline is that its a fun Lego model for kids and collectors to own.
This set will be of no interest to many as the subject matter is not particularly appealing, but certainly for younger fans this is an excellent set, and if the Star Wars: Rebels cartoon proves popular this model will inevitably be equally so.
I like the build: It's pretty accurate and is a nice build. The figure selection could be better, though. Playability is decent (though an interior would be nice). Price is good in the UK and Australia, but could be a bit cheaper in U.S. and New Zealand.
It would have just been too easy to say, “this thing sucks" but given that this is the gateway ship to more Rebels merch, I thought it was important to do a thorough review.
