This is an easy and fun build. The end product is great to play with, as well as display. No regrets at all with this purchase.

This LEGO version of the Shuttle Tydirium does a great job of replicating the ship from Return of the Jedi. Fans can use it to recreate the movie's suspenseful approach to Endor, or they can imagine and stage entirely new Star Wars adventures. It will also look great in a Star Wars LEGO display.

So much fun to build of course. Only complaint is the feet. Double checked the instructions to be sure...the shuttle is very heavy. The feet either slide too far forward or too far back and then the shuttle tilts forward or back. It doesn't always stay up on its own feet. Despite the feet, it's well structured. The doors slide up smoothly. There are lots of little peg pieces within so it does not come apart when playing. We also like the older Chewbacca minifigure.

Good minifigures, good price, good playability, and good iconic build. Definitely a winner.

There are a whole lot of little details tucked into this ship. As a shelf piece, it's a fantastic upgrade to the original. You want to set it up either for the Rebel landing, or more likely for the Emperor's arrival.

Go buy it. Or don't if you don't have the money in your Lego budget. I mean, what other set can you get for $99.99/£79.99? The Ferrari F40? Hmm, wait, actually, I like that set a bit better....

I think this is a good set on the whole. Although it is not a perfect representation of the vehicle from the movie it captures the general silhouette well and most inaccuracies are justified in an attempt to increase playability. For £79.99 or $99.99 I am quite satisfied with the value as the model is impressively tactile and has a decent weight to it. For fans of the Original Trilogy this set is simply a must have.

I really like the Tydirium set - I think it's a great looking model. It crams in a good selection of minifigs and play features that make sense and work, for the most part. There's no conflict opportunities without buying other sets, but there's also no extraneous elements like the fuel pump and stairs on the Naboo Starfighter. It's not a cheap set, and from just a parts perspective I'm not sure there's a lot of value, but if you're a Star Wars fan it's definitely worth your consideration.
