This excellent little set is very surprising. First, the combination of the constraction figure from Bionicle/Hero Factory with Star Wars is epic. After the build was complete, I was surprised by how large the set was! The head and facial characteristics are very similar to the animation used in the Clone Wars movie/tv series and is perfect for this set. The lightsaber blade is rubbery, but not too bendy. The cape fits and is a nice addition tot the aesthetic. Overall this is an excellent set which I highly recommend.
This set is very impressive. I can't quite fault it, really, as even the price is right. The only thing I can think of against its armor is that it is not completely accurate to the Clone Wars Obi-Wan's armor, but it nonetheless looks good.
The figures can be used to recreate scenes from their movies, especially the Luke set, which has the handcuffs from his capture scene in Return of the Jedi. The high level of articulation also makes them very posable so they will look great on display.
Now unless I'm missing something, this set is 25% more expensive than Jango, Cody, and Luke, which is a $5 increase in price. So the cape is $5? I guess if Grievous had a cape made to match his size the set would be upwards of $50. However in my opinion, just adding a cape to this set does not make it worth that insanely high price tag for what you get. He is an awesome figure and worth looking into if you are a fan of the character, but he is a perfect exaple of how increased licensing cost can really start to make you question what you are buying.
This is yet another excellent figure in the Battle Figures range. I was not sure how I would feel about Obi-Wan's head but the moment I poured the pieces out I was pleasantly surprised, probably as a result of the familiarity of stylised designs for the character like this one. The rest of the figure is equally impressive in my opinion, although I don't think it quite matches 75111 Darth Vader for detail.
There are no Jedi mind tricks or Sith force chokes required to pick up this set. Maybe you don't fancy yourself a Sith or a Jedi, there's a bounty hunter out there and even a clone commander to pick up. I cannot speak for anyone else, but I know I'll be picking up a couple more of these guys.
