Darth Vader

This is THE best build-able action figure type thing ever. It looks awesome and is extremely fun to build. It's very easy to pose the figure however due to the torso being the main and heaviest part, it tends to fall over. But since it's so easy to pose this isn't much of a problem. Simply move the legs in any direction to make the Vader come to life! Pros: The pieces (especially the head) The lightsaber- I love the different ways Vader can hold the saber Stickers- There aren't any! All printed parts! Cons: The torso being so heavy Kinda small/skinny legs- makes it hard(er) to pose This is one of my favourite Star Wars sets including the Death Star (That's how good it is). more less

A very well interpenetration of one of the most iconic villains ever, the building process was very fun, and the fact that this vader is made up from Bionic'ish Lego parts makes him look very aggressive, as if he's some sort of an "armored Vader", it just makes him look very cool in my opinion, and the size of the final build is great whether to play with or just have on display, I highly recommend this to any star wars and or Lego fan! (I included a photo to show what the final thing looks like if anyone is interested) more less

This Buildable Darth Vader figure can be used to recreate scenes from Star Wars saga, or kids can play out their own Star Wars adventures. The articulation and large size make it ideal for posing and displaying. more less

Honestly... It's a bit MEH. I did not have high hopes for the set yet I decided to give it a try. It is a bit hard to make it stand like you want, but then again you can move the legs & arms quite a lot. more less

Vader has a very close likeness to the movie character although there's one thing that bugs me about it. You'll notice that that there are some blue on the arm, body, and leg armor pieces. I'm not sure they're supposed to represent but I would've rather kept it completely black. more less

At $30, Vader feels like a set that is worth the money with the additional licencing cost. You get a very involved build, a decently sized figure, and it's Darth Vader- what reason could you have for not wanting him? (Contrary to popular belief, Vader is not threatening to force choke me right now.) more less

It would be easy to overlook the six Star Wars Battle Figures, especially when they are on the shelf beside the sets based on The Force Awakens, but I certainly recommend 75111 Darth Vader. This is an excellent model for display, with impressive articulation and lots of detail, although it lacks playability unless you have a second figure to accompany this one. more less

Overall, there are a lot of great ideas in this set. I'd like to see the attempt at purposeful complexity and more detailed build represented in more CCBS sets, especially in our beloved BIONICLE line. But I'd rather see it done the way Grievous does it, not the way Vader does it. I feel like the torso is complex simply to be complex, and the aesthetic value of the set suffers greatly for it. more less
