I picked this up for my son over the holidays, and he absolutely loved it! (We're both big Star Wars fans by the way!) This set includes Admiral Ackbar, Princess Leia, and two Resistance troopers. The troops each have different torsos and blasters. (I am including pictures of each of the figures in my review.) The troopers are also very good for those of you that are into army building! Furthermore, Ackbar and Leia both have new body prints. The transporter itself looks amazing! There are some play features such as, flick missiles, ramps, a unique cockpit door mechanism, and the whole top of the ship opens up to reveal your minifigures! It is also fairly large, about a foot in length. The set contains a large amount of stickers, mostly for the cockpit area. It took about an hour and a half for my son and I to assemble it, and we had fun doing it! Overall, I really recommend this set, IT'S A WINNER!!! :)
This set is very good. The ship is well made with and it was very easy to build. But the thing that stole the show for this set was its mini figs. General Leia and Admiral Ackbar look incredible. The 2 Rebel Troopers are ok but Leia and Ackbar definitely stole the show. Their detail is incredible. Hats off to Lego on that. The biggest con this set has is its stickers. 19 stickers??? Thats unbelievable! Overall this set is really good and I don't regret spending the cash on it. 8/10
LEGO's version of the Troop Transporter does a great job of bringing the movie's vehicle to life. The minifigures in this set also greatly add to its collectibility. The LEGO Ackbar minifigure is great, and the variations in the troopers makes this a great troop building set. The Leia minifigure also does a perfect job of recreating the character from the movie. One interesting thing about this figure--the box lists her name as Princess Leia, rather than General Leia.
A design that grows on you and a set that doesn't let you down by trying to do too much.
This is a good set. I like the Transporter itself, especially how generous the interior is. The play features are also not bad either. The minifigure selection is decent, though there is room for improvement.
This set is almost perfect. The level of detail is brilliant, the play value is very high and the minifigure selection is impressive, although another Resistance general or a couple of First Order Stormtroopers would have been welcome.
Overall, I'd recommend the set to hardcore Star Wars fans (of which I suppose I am myself again — I'm personally glad I have my copy of the set), but wouldn't recommend the set just for the bricks at the full price we expect.
