I decided to get this simply because AT-ST and Baze's big gun. The minis are a nice addition to my Rebel Alliance, so that's a plus. The build is nice and simple, utilizing nice Technic blends with System to make the proper angles like a "real" AT-ST. My biggest complaint is that the legs don't move. They're anchored at the "hip", and have the one bend at the darker grey join, so it's more of a display model. Which is ironic, seeing as the UCS was almost as much as this one, and bends at the points that they do in the movie. But regardless, it is a fun build, forgoing play for stability, even though it's supposed to be for play. Oh well.
Hi. I am iBEstormtrooper... I actually found I made an error with the build this is why it fell. Now that I have fixed it I'm finding this AT ST very good. However it could be better with walking. So all in all I messed up . Well done Lego but please make it better to walk. I know me and PILAPANTS had the same issue due to the same mistake . Good product and it certainly has a good design. My favourite feature is the head as it is detailed. However my least favourite feature is the legs where the joint at the top is. This is because I am finding it too stiff to move. Overall sorry for the silly error on my part and Lego, that was not a bad job.
Rogue One fans can use this Walker and the character minifigures to reenact scenes from the movie, or they can “go rogue" and create their own Star Wars scenarios. The set is great for playing with, or displaying in a collection or Star Wars diorama.
This set is an above average LEGO Rogue One set. I like it very much and is fun to play with to form various battle scenes together. I look forward to acquire a few more of these, if the price is reasonable elsewhere and in Singapore. The minifigures assortment are excellent and the design is realistic and stayed close to the actual reference.
At £39.99, 75153 represents a significant price upgrade from the AT-ST's previous iterations. But there's plenty of brick for your buck, and the size increase is enough that you won't feel hard done by. The play features are limited, but on display, it's the real deal – and certainly the most aesthetically-pleasing official AT-ST yet.
While the look and feel are spot on in terms of accuracy, after building it, I really didn't know how I felt about it and after a few minutes all I can muster up is this: it's alright. It's certainly not the best AT-ST in my opinion but it's the only one we've got right now.
Scale issues aside, and ignoring the accuracy of the minifigs until the movie comes out, this is an excellent LEGO AT-ST. From a value standpoint, it's a $40 LEGO Star Wars set with three minifigs and 449 pieces, which is actually rather unprecedented (and I believe I may have mentioned once or twice already that it's currently $31.99). This is probably my favorite AT-ST set of the innumerable versions LEGO has released since the rather sad first one from 2001. I definitely recommend it, both as a display model and for the fairly generous parts count.
