Day one purchase. Had to have it. Enjoyed every minute of building it. I personally love sets that take time to build and display great in my collection. Set is absolutely beautiful and is the center piece of my collection. Totally recommend to any UCS collector.
I like to point out that this set is a must have for every Star Wars fan, even if you are only a casual LEGO fan. The biggest LEGO set ever released respresenting the most iconic ship of the Star Wars universe! I absolutely love the looks and the inclusion of the interior sections. The range of minifigs is spot on and the set is an absolutely eye-catcher.
I love this, but not at this price, Lego did a early sell to VIP clients. They will have it back in stock and it will NOT be a limited Edition item. So you can get it for the $800.00 Soon
To say that the LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192) is epic is still an understatement. I've built and reviewed a lot of largest sets in terms of piece count but nothing even comes close to this. Overall with me building it twice, it has taken me about 40 hours total so about 20 hours each. The exterior of the UCS Millennium Falcon is pretty much as detailed as a set can be but there's always room for additions if you desire. One thing I do like are the swappable antennas but I rather prefer the rounded one from Episode V. The amount of greebling all around the Falcon is unparalleled to any other set that I've previous built and that's not a bad thing.
I had exceptionally high expectations for 75192 Millennium Falcon so am delighted to report that this set is nothing short of spectacular! The level of exterior detail far exceeds that of 10179 Millennium Falcon or almost any other LEGO set and the accuracy of the model is unprecedented within the Star Wars range. I love the sprinkling of colour and the inclusion of some interior detail is very welcome, as are the alternative assemblies used for switching between versions of the freighter from the Original and Sequel Trilogies.
UCS 75192 Millennium Falcon stands today as one of the greatest LEGO sets ever produced and, whenever it does move into retirement, it will remain so iconic for years to come.
This week I had the distinct pleasure of building the most awesome LEGO set of all time with the most awesome group of people of all time, Tested.com. We spent two days building, shooting, sharing stories and having a load of fun geeking out on this spectacular set.
The new LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192) was released earlier today and if you were able to checkout, prepare for something massive. I received my review copy on Monday and have been building it for the past few days. I'm 10.5 hours in and I'm only currently up to bags numbered 7 out of 17 so this will be a daunting task. Since it's so large, I'm going to try to break up the review into several parts. Here's a quick unboxing of this beauty of a set.
This set is not for the faint of heart. Not just because it's massive (it's one of the biggest LEGO sets ever) but it's also complex. This set may be difficult for newcomers to LEGO sets of this kind, as it's not an easy build. Still, what an enjoyable experience. This set pays itself over and over for a true LEGO enthusiast. It's not cheap, but it's worth every penny, due to the amount of detail and care put on this set. The ship's interior is true to the Star Wars spirit. The outside is very well done. From afar, it doesn't even look like LEGO. Changing radar dishes will change this ship's look from the original trilogy to the new series, as you prefer.
It would be hard to consider 75192 Millennium Falcon my favorite LEGO set of all time, but it's undeniably one of the greatest and best. With a monumental scale that enabled the designers to add every conceivable detail, including half an interior (leaving space for fans to supplement their own UCS Falcons), it's hard to imagine how LEGO will be able to top this set any time soon.
