Oh ya finally Lego made a Ford Fiesta. Looks great ready to start the build. Post pics when completed.
I remain impressed with my second foray into Speed Champions. The Ford Fiesta is a great value per brick, as well as in terms of build time. Additionally, the design is nice, even if you leave off the stickers. My only gripe with the set is the bad brick-to-fig ratio and a lack of accessories.
Ok, so looks like 2018 for speed champions is gonna be awesome. this set had some new pieces never seen before and the dark blue color is awesome (not new but very cool) just a warning though in step 40 and 44 the color of the tile is dark blue not black. I messed that up and now my stickers are on the wrong color. Hopefully Lego can send me a new sticker sheet. I thought the add on headlights would look weird, but they look really good in real life. must get set. now on to the 68 mustang!
Although stickers are usually frowned upon in LEGO sets, I feel that they are warranted for the LEGO Speed Champions Ford Fiesta WRC (75885). Without them, you still have a nice car but since this one is based on a rally car, you kind of have to have them for it to look the best. It's also interesting to see that LEGO included two different hoods for the day and night driving even though they didn't have to but it adds more realism to the overall look of the set.
If you're a Speed Champions fan then this should be on your wanted list, because it's a bit different from the usual road racers and sports cars. It's the first rally car, the first dark blue car, is packed with new and interesting parts, all of which makes it an attractive proposition.
We think the car is incredibly photogenic, and would look amazing drifting around a curve with a roostertail of dust and gravel. [...] It will also look great on a desk or shelf as a display model. While many Speed Champions supercars look rather alike unless you look closely (though that's certainly improving with the increasingly sophisticated design lately), the Ford Fiesta stands out from the rest with its chunky, angular look.
