A great little set! We bought it for our 3 year old grandnephew. Loved the mini-figures - especially Mysterio (who he decided was a "good" bad guy). Build was easy and all three pieces held up well under vigorous play. Beautiful detail on Mysterio's mech and the bank vault. The 3 year old and his 7 year old brother ( who had just received the War Machine Buster) played all afternoon with the new set.
We really love LEGOs in this family. My son can spend hours playing with them. I really like them because he can be creative. Once he is done putting together the item he will often make his own creations.I love the quality of the LEGOs. I don't think we have ever had one break and we have many, many sets. I also like that he has something to play with once he makes it. Of course he has to be careful with it, but if he is, he can play with it.These make great gifts. I think my son loves it the best of all. It is good for both boys and girls. It is also nice when the set goes with something like this one does. This was a good set. He was able to put it together on his own. It really kept him occupied for quite a while. I think it is also educational. It is good that he can follow the directions and also for hand-eye coordination.I would highly recommend this set.
Both of these sets will be perfect for inspiring imaginative action-packed play among Spider-Man fans young and old. They feature characters and villains that kids are familiar with from some of the recent Spider-Man movies, and with new builds and minifigures, there's definitely a collectible aspect, too.
