This is a great product. My sons played for hours with this. Lots of fun for them. It was very easy to play with for them. The play experience was definitely worth the value. I would recommend this to anyone who has little boys in there lives! Plus they love the spider-man and ghost rider so that's also a big plus!'
Of all the sets in the January 2021 wave of Marvel Superhero sets, this one is my favorite. The car is like something you see in Speed Champions and the Minifigures are excellent. Additionally, you get a lot of bricks and build time for the price point. I do wish Ghost Rider had a regular skull for a face. I am not 100% keen on this metallic look. However, I love Carnage. Superheroes fans will get a nice set here, and others will get a car reminiscent of the Speed Champions Dodge Charger. This is solid buy, even at full price.
Despite containing three minifigures and one vehicle, 76173 Spider-Man and Ghost Rider vs. Carnage appears pleasantly unusual within the Marvel Super Heroes theme. The minifigures are definitely appealing and I am pleased to see another Ghost Rider variant, although I think Robbie's distinctive Hell Charger is probably the outstanding aspect of this set.
Although the overall build of the Hell Charger is similar to the Speed Champions version, the front end has a few differences. The grill is more prominent and mean-looking thanks to the toothed bar element. The exposed engine is also tweaked to include a trio of stud-shooters. Hey, it wouldn't be a superhero set without them, although they do work well, in appearance, not as a weapon.
If you're a fan of the Spider-Verse, these sets should have enough to be interesting to you from the character standpoint. And if you're just looking for silly Spider-fun, or a gift, they're probably a safe bet, too. But if you're looking for non-minifigure LEGO reusability…maybe wait for a sale unless you're really fond of yellow Technic pins, obviously.
