I've been waiting to own this since the first grainy pictures last year. I love this set. The Tractor has a fantasic design and of course the pigs to add to the cows of last year are a must have (luckily you get four). Soon we will have camels and ostriches to add to the animal kingdom.
This set is a great addition to the Farm subtheme and also great as a stand-alone set. The new pig mold is the definite highlight in here as well as the new overalls torso. The set somehow left me the feeling of the good old classic town days for some reason meaning that it can be placed in both classic town layouts and more recent city layouts. I can't find a major flaw since everything seem to be great. The only thing that could have been added is a green baseplate for the pigs enclosure for a more "countryside" look.
Lego's are a toy that survives it all... i know because my boys were destruction machines! But the Lego's survived, 4 generations in our family have played or worked with (my mom built the kids a special Lego table) with our Lego's (now a collection) and they survived it all. The kids all grew up and went away (we had 5) and now the grandkids come to play with the same Lego's. Can't beat that for a toy.
I just finished building the set, and it didn't disappoint. Aside from the pigs, the set also includes a number of other parts I hadn't gotten before, starting with the short-brimmed baseball cap and a new exhaust pipe piece that appears to be new in 2010.
