I have loved the TMNT since I was a child in the 80s. I was really looking forward to this set. Imagine my disappointment when I found out how poorly this set is designed. The van is a joke. The overall construction is flimsy. The wheels are attached in an odd way that makes the front end slant down, and it does not roll smoothly. The pizza van is actually very sturdy but the price you are paying does not make the set worth it. On a good note, the minifigures are great, especially Dogpound (who is currently exclusive to this set.) I own most of the other TMNT sets. Overall, I felt most of the sets were disappointing, but this one was the worst. If you can find this set on sale, it would be worth it for the figures. Otherwise, avoid this one.

Recommendation: no 4 / 5 by Allen "Tormentalous" Tran

Overall, The Shellraiser Street Chase is an ok set. It is the most expensive set in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles line but it does have a decent amount of pieces to warrant the price tag. All the minifigures in the set are not exclusive except for Dogpound although Leonardo and Michelangelo does have different expressions in other sets. The pizza delivery van is nothing special and the Shellraiser has some good play features that kids might enjoy.

I can't remember the last time I found so many flaws in a set but was so willing to put them aside and just enjoy it for what it is. This set is nuts, stark raving, eye wateringly bonkers, it's also good, really good. To critique this set from AFOL point of view is almost missing the point, unleash your inner seven year old (or, if you're seven, get to bed, you're up way too late) and revel in the sheer and utter lunacy of it.

The set is an absolute hoot to play with. The Shellraiser has a tonne of neat play features: the roof is removable, there are flip-out computer panels and weapon racks, the rocket launcher on the roof, and the cherry on top is most definitely the adjustable wheels to allow it to roll on railroad (subway) track.
