Who cares about the flaws, this set is great. For the same RRP, here in Italy you could buy any of these: Pirates' Loot island, Prince of Persia's Ostrich race, Toy story's Woody and Buzz to the rescue, Castle's King's battle chariot, World racer's Jagged jaws reef, Atlantis' Deep sea striker or Farm's 4WD w/horse trailer. What's your choice?

This is our first Lego Advent calendar. While entertaining and a fun alternative to the 2D paper versions, we found it somewhat lacking, Here's the spoiler alert... I didn't think I had a set expectation for this Lego product, but as we continued to open the days I realized that I did in fact wish it were something different. Most of the windows contained Lego people from the Kingdom set, but an equally large number contained miniature contraptions that would have been better envisioned as smaller pieces of a larger whole. Too bad at least part of the Lego Kingdoms advent didn't become a castle that you put together day by day. Would have been much more fun! Better luck next year.
