This set is Incredible! It has bricks of every color range so no matter what pre-designed sets you want to add on to you can stay within the original color scheme. And it's not just bricks, but those all important small pieces too, sideways bricks, dots, transparents, even a few windows and doors. This set has enough bricks to complete an entire scene of your own imagination or to create multiple add-on scenes for other sets. You don't have to pull apart every small thing you make just to make the next piece in your imagination. By far my favorite brick set in the entire lego catalog. Use this set to create and build without pre-set instructions, though there are plenty of instructions for small builds online. This set is the true history of lego bricks, before pre-designed sets became all the rage.
