This was a huge hit- easy enough for our 5 year old grandson to build and with minimal help. He could follow the instruction booklet but putting the ninja sword in a figure's hands took a bit more strength than he could muster ( luckily, it stays in place most of the time). This set has endured the typical exuberant play of a 5 year old and is holding up nicely, He has no trouble figuring out where any loose pieces need to fit back into place.
