This is a great set for young Lego builders. My 4 ½ yr old needed very little help w/this build. Her teen sister only helped a tiny bit. She mainly had to help put the oven door on.This is an adorable set and fun to play with. It has a cute van that can be pushed around. The little cupcakes and the full size cake are cute. My daughter keeps moving/changing things and telling me to look. She is really enjoying this set.My daughter followed the directions, but then likes to modify the build and create different things. Legos are great for this.The Duplo size are nice because they're a bit easier for little kids to put together/take apart.This set is the perfect size for a gift and it's in a cute box.Overall we're really pleased with this set. It's a great set for kids to build w/minimal help, plus it's just cute,
