I looked at the box that this toy came in. It has been put up for a Christmas as this is one of the Mine Craft toys my grandson wants so very much. Our expeience has been that the Mine Craft toys by Lego really have been good. So we are looking forward to what happens when Christmas gets here.

Yet another solid Minecraft set by LEGO! The pieces in this set are very useful, for it comes with a ton of light blue bricks. I like the printed bricks for the enchantment table, and the baby cow is a great addition. The snowman-to-snow golem transformation function is fun, and the modules of the set are all very easy to reconfigure and create your own landscape. I just hope in the future, LEGO gives us some different minifigures other than Steve and/or Alex in the main sets. Solid set!

Recommendation: no 3.5 / 5 by Allen "Tormentalous" Tran

Overall, it is a decent set with a variety of new or rare parts that builders may enjoy. As for the set itself, it's not a bad model although the ice columns are somewhat simple and repetitive. The play features are also lacking but as with other Minecraft sets, you can rearrange some of the areas to give it a whole different look.

The last bag builds out the second ice spire and all the other details, like the enchantment station. Much like the Nether Railway set, the model can be rearranged by swapping the modules around. There is also a fun play feature that allows Steve to animate his snow golem to protect the area (much as they did in the Iron Golem set). This was another great set for Minecraft fans and has all the makings of an excellent parts pack for AFOLs.
