As I have been intrigued with lego building due to a family member building their builds recently, I thought that i would give lego building a go. So i choose a franchise i love (minecraft) and bought this. I am pleasantly surprised how easy these big figs were to build and even more excited to see that the legs can move and head turn for pictures with the other big figs and other builds i may do in the future. I have enclosed a picture with this and the other series two set of bigfigs as i built them both together for my first ever build.
This set is definitely best for Minecraft fans more than just Lego builders. Once assembled, you have 2 figures that are certainly “playable," but also neat to just keep on your desk as fun decor. The ocelot and Creeper have bendable legs and moveable heads, but of course they're blocky Minecraft figures so don't expect them to do too much!As for adding this set to your permanent Lego collection, realize that there are not a whole lot of unique pieces here since Minecraft is a blocky world. Creeper has a couple of unusual “gunpowder" pyramids inside his head, and there are the printed facial tiles of course. Nice assortment of different green colors as well, and a few special t-shaped bricks too.
Minecraft fans who like building with LEGO will have fun bringing the computer game to life through these physical sets. There's a lot of great detail and movement to inspire action-packed play, and kids will like seeing familiar characters and locations represented in each set. These make a great addition to a LEGO Minecraft collection or a fun way to start building one.
