I had a hard time comming up with somethign to say here, because the build is so flat. It is however, not based on a 2xX plate, but a 6x8 plate. The picnic blanket is brilliant, becuase it has the right pattern and color of a real one, plus it has studs for the accessories and tiles for minidolls to sit. The center 2x2 white plate is a little difficult to remove.

My nearly 4-year old daughter really likes the Lego Friends series. She liked this model. We had fun putting it together. This was one of the smaller models of the series that we have played with, so the assembly time doesn't last as long as some of the others, but it was still worth it
