I'm hoping there will eventually be a Lego Microfighter version of this shuttle, but in the meantime this is a nice model, very recognizable as the shuttle used in numerous Star Wars scenes. The top sail is very easily knocked off as it's only secured by three studs. I have fixed mine with hot glue to alleviate the problem.
Bearing in mind this was essentially free (I use the paper for my recycling bin) I can't fault it. It's quite an interesting build and is instantly recognisable. The model is quite sturdy, and great fun to swoosh. Highly recommended if you haven't got the space for a larger version!
30246 Imperial Shuttle is the fifth Imperial Shuttle LEGO has made and the third mini-scale one, following 2004's 4494 and 2010's 20016 Brickmaster exclusive that wasn't available outside of North America. All three are, of course, similar, but with differences in the way the wings are hinged. This is the smallest of the three but is still a good rendition of the craft.
