This set continues to expand the world of LEGO Friends and offers a new location to interact with the characters. Kids can build and then engage in pretend play soaring through the sky in the hot air balloon and then enjoying a picnic near a waterfall. With so many pieces, this set offers a lot of construction and imaginative play.

This is another well made toy set by Lego. It takes a good solid hour of building by a child with occasional adult supervision but the result is totally worth it and lots of fun. The balloon structure is strong and quite beautiful once finished. All the pieces fit perfectly as is the standard with Lego sets. The plastics are high quality and has no smells.

Although we're still in and around Heartlake City, designers have come up with an excellent and original idea with this balloon. The mountain area might seem a little superfluous considering how cool the balloon is, but the whole set gives you all possibilities for a day excursion in the outskirts of the City.

The finished set is attractive and substantial. My son immediately started playing with it, so I know it has play value too. My LUG has plans to draft this set in a couple of months and I can't wait to fight over some of the beautiful elements!

I waded into unknown territory by purchasing this set and do not regret it for a second. The hot air balloon is just as good as I had hoped, if not even better, and the little patch of countryside looks rather nice despite not being the focus of the set for me.
