Heartlake Grand Hotel

I bought this set for my 10 year old daughter's birthday. When I received it from Amazon I was surprised at how big and heavy the box was. This is quite a big set for $120. When my daughter opened it she immediately wanted to start building it! There are too many accessories to list and that is what makes this set so great. You can get an idea of what comes with the set from the pictures on Amazon, however the set “in real life" is huge… lots of playability, lots if unique pieces and great attention to detail. Also, I believe other reviews have probably covered more details about the set... all I know is that we have MANY Lego sets "Friends" theme and others and this is the only one that she dedicated a whole day to putting together... non stop. The set is so big it would probably take me a whole day to put it together... :). Lego has done it again. more less

The hotel was such a joy the elevator was tricky but I figured it out I got this gift for my daughter for Christmas she had so much fun with it I would say this gift was great and fun to build. more less

This is a very large and very cool building set with lots of realistic details and moving parts to enhance the imaginative play and really help kids play out the entire experience of staying at a hotel. more less

I think this is an fantastic set. In terms of playability, there are lots of subsets for role playing different aspects of hotel stays and moving features. In terms of parts, the colours are beautiful and it has quite a number of parts that are new and exclusive to this set. It also has a wide range of accessories, which we have come to expect from a Friends set. more less

41101 Heartlake Grand Hotel is a nice model with plenty of detail and playability, for those who like sort of thing. For me, it's a really good, cost effective parts pack with some newish and rare elements, and several really useful re-coloured elements. more less

In my view, Heartlake Hotel definitely manages to live up to its “grand" name, and I sincerely hope that in the next few years we see more sets from regular themes receiving such star treatment once in a while. more less
