This is a fun set of Moana-themed Legos. The build is in three pieces: voyaging canoe (complete with sail), Te Fiti island, and a working catapult. It comes with Moana minifigure (in the style of the Friends Legos rather than the standard block style), a large Maui figure and the rooster Heihei the rooster.There are lots of little elements for play, like an oar which can be used in Moana's hand or on the side of the canoe. There are two Kakamora for catapult action and the island of Te Fiti has the ability to transform (by spinning). There are a few decals to place but nothing extreme. A number of the pieces are pre-printed as well.The kit took a couple of hours to build and has a lot of tiny pieces (flowers, etc.) It holds together well and can be played with after it is completed.

Great set for the value, son has been playing with it for days! Love the two face feature on the island! A bit sad the crab isn't in either set, but we made a Mixel to serve as that character :)

Fans of the movie will enjoy building and acting out scenes from the movie with this playset and its characters, which capture the adventures of Moana and Maui as they journey to Te Fiti island. Fans of Maui's character in the film will especially like playing with the larger-than-life LEGO figure within this setting.

I quite enjoyed this build. The boat is simple and elegant. There are lots of bricks in neutral colours and the design is pleasing. The island portion of the build is quite fun and involves some nice building techniques. Moana is quite nice, and so is Maui, though it's unfortunate that he doesn't have all of his tattoos represented on the bigfig.

The design on the outrigger canoe is excellent and Te Fini is beautiful.There are decent parts, and plenty in useful colors (yay for tan!). This is currently the only way to get Maui, and Moana is unique to the set.
