My eight year old has loved Trolls since the first movie came out so this set is perfect for her. This set conveys the look of something you'd see in the Trolls' world perfectly. There are several Trolls minifigures included in this set --Poppy, Branch, Cooper, Guy Diamond and Tiny Diamond. The set was easy for my seasoned Lego Builder to assemble. As with other LEGO sets, the instructions are easy to follow. This particular set can be combined with other Trolls sets.
This set is so cool but it has one problem. The problem is that cooper's pod falls off the branch. But otherwise I am very happy with my purchase.
One of the things we really like about these sets is the Trolls hair play. Kids will have fun mixing and matching the hairstyles among the different minifigures and popping accessories in and out to create different looks. We also like the addition of felt pieces in each set, giving a nice tactile appeal to the building and helping bring some of the texture from the movie to life. And, of course, each set includes lots of the details and accessories that LEGO does so well to inspire a lot of imaginative play.

Getting the idea of a set based on a film that has not yet been released is complicated. Even so, the set is fun and there are quite a few elements of play between the stage, the kitchen, the pods, the disc and other elements. I'm sure that after the movie is released, there will be more play. Until then, we will see if we adapt the set to fit some other theme or if it stays as a curiosity.
