Love LEGO. Played with it as a kid, and now my kids love it also. There's so much good to say about LEGO that I'm so surprised they missed such a big detail to this set. The Friends characters don't have the posable hands like the normal figures. So now you have a gymnastics set with characters that can't use one of the features, the uneven bars. Bars are horizontal, Friends hands stay vertical. Was hoping there would be a piece or something to bridge the gap, but there was not. What a massive oversight by LEGO, I'm really surprised they missed this. Otherwise it's business as usual. My girls love it.

Recommendation: meh by thropots

It is a fun set. I didn't find anything surprising in the building techniques, which fits for a 6+ set, but it also wasn't boring or repetitive. I'm not a huge fan of applying stickers, but I feel that they really enhance the scene. This is definitely more of a play set than a display set. For me the play features aren't a big attraction, but they are probably fun for the intended market. I did enjoy building it. The parts will be useful additions to my collection, and new looks for the mini-dolls are always appreciated.
