My 11 year old daughter loved it! She spent parts of 3 days building it. She had fun playing with it after as well. My husband wasn't thrilled at first. (Apparently Lego friends are not ''real'' Lego mini fig's.) But it didn't take long before he was over there building and playing too. It has been a great family activity. Love all the movability, that was what caught my husband's attention. My daughter made the swing first. He saw it twirl and was hooked. I hope to see more amusement park sets, it seems to be one everyone loves. Easy to incorporate other sets too. Rocket ship rides are currently being created.
Received this yesterday evening and my 7 year old daughter put together the first two bags with minimal help from me. (Goal was to do the project together.) so far I'm blown away by the design and we are a small fraction of the way done with the build. If anything changes in my rating I'll update but this is looking to he well worth the money. After the haunted castle this is quickly becoming my favorite LEGO set!Update: we have completed bag 6. Set keeps getting more amazing. Quality time with my daughter building this set is priceless. We are both enjoying the set, and each others company very much :)
These LEGO FRIENDS building sets are colorful and fun to construct.
41375 Heartlake City Amusement Pier is an impressive set, and I'm very happy to see a set this size in the Friends range again - it was long overdue.
The final set is really big. Lots to layout and play with (I actually had a hard time fitting it in one photo). Kids are always my barometer when it comes to the playability factor and this rated very high. It IS fun, and it IS bright and colorful. It fits the theme, nails it infact, and I'm just gonna say it, is up there with some of my favourite sets. The build was fun, contained surprises, and wasn't too simple (or too complicated). The Minidolls are great, you do get a lot but there is a lot to do with them.
