This BrickHeadz Elsa only includes 130 pieces, but it's jam-packed full of details, from the iconic braid to the detail on her dress! I bought this for my friend's 6-year-old daughter, and she was pleased and surprised to see one of her favorite Disney princesses in BrickHeadz form. The build itself is rather easy, although my friend's daughter did need some help from her older sister. You'll need to pay attention to the part where the hair is built; the small round pieces are tricky to keep track of! Anyways, as for the overall look of Elsa, I'd say it's an accurate representation of the animated character from the movie. Her braid is full of dimension and texture, and it really looks as if it's going over her shoulder! Plus, the printed piece for the front of her dress really compliments her iconic look! This set is a must have for any Frozen lover, and would go really well with the Anna/Olaf BrickHeadz (which I have!)
I have a pretty nice collection of these Brickheadz, so, naturally, I had to include this one. It's not my favorite of the bunch and kinda seems like they released it just cause Frozen stuff sells well. It lacks detail and some of the overall "coolness" that the other models in this theme have. But, if you're a Frozen/Disney fan, this is a must for your collection.
These Disney's Frozen LEGO BrickHeadz are recommended for ages 10 and up. We also recommend these Legos for anyone who loves Legos, especially fans of Disney's Frozen.
Elsa is a difficult character to recreate in LEGO form, especially as a Brickheadz, since so much of the detail is lost, I think its a sold addition to the Disney Brickheadz line but I wasn't blown away with it.
Her Cool Yellow hair can be thanked for two other recoloured elements, 2x4 plate and Tile, Round 1 x 1 Quarter. The 1x2 inverted bracket is now available in Aqua [TLG]/ Light Aqua [BL], and Brick, Modified 1 x 1 x 1 2/3 with Studs on 1 Side in Spring Yellowish Green [TLG] / Yellowish Green [BL] - still one of the most underrepresented LEGO colours.
I do like a good BrickHeadz and the the two girls here are among my favourites, mainly on account of the colours which make a nice change from the dull palette of most Star Wars and Super Heroes ones. Olaf doesn't do much for me, although I appreciate he's a popular character who would be missed if he wasn't included.
