Overall, this is a "must buy" for Pirate fans. I would buy this ship again in a heartbeat. While $120 (USD) seems a bit high in price (I would expect a ship like this to sell for around $100), it is definitely a formidable ship when it comes to LEGO Pirate vessels.
I got this ship for my 12 year old son for Christmas. He has built many Legos before and seemed to enjoy building this one as much as all the rest.I don't know if it's the size, the detail, or just that the subject is a little more mature, but we think it is very impressive looking. It's very nice looking from the back and front. The sails are nice and the windows, skull railing, and lantern in the back all add a creepy kind of elegance to it. We will, definitly, find a prominent place in his room to display it.
Took 3 hours to put together. Not worth the price if you are looking for a challenge. It does look cool when you are done.
Skip, unless you want a good ship to base a MOC on. Save up some more money and buy the Imperial Flagship or just build yourself a good pirate ship.
