I'm a giant nerd for the Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic series, and I was glad to see that Darth Revan gets an official Lego release, even if it was a special offer only. The amount of detail put into this figure's appearance shows and is great. Now Lego needs to get around to releasing more of the Knights of the old republic series into Lego form and they'd make a fortune from all the nerds/collectors like me who love the series. One little thing I thought would have been a nice touch would have been if they included additional light saber colors, instead of just solely a red one, since what if you wanted him to have a blue light saber or green etc. Sure you can just swap it out with another one if you own other Lego Jedi's. Overall I enjoyed this a lot and you should get it while they are relatively cheap, since the longer you wait the more expensive they will get in time.
Was the Darth Revan Minifigure worth all the hype? I think so. Revan comes with a red light sabre, a hood, and a cape. He does not have a double-sided face or any rear printing on his torso or legs. The front of the Minifigure is very well detailed though. For a freebie, this is a nice Minifig.
This exclusive minifig appears as a unique opportunity to get a LEGO representation of a fan-favourite character. This is probably the only chance we'll have to get a Darth Revan minifigure (unless Disney decides to adapt KotOR at some point but for now this seems rather unlikely) and I believe those who like the character should seize that opportunity. The minifig is nothing special as far as parts are concerned. It doesn't have any special or new fancy armour piece like Malgus but it still looks great nonetheless.
