This is truly best for ages 5 and up. It has so so many small parts which disappear and really don't stay attached well. I gave this to my son way too early but honestly it has way too many small pieces that are really unnecessary and really best super glued such as the stairs, and blinds in the window. I'd honestly go with the new firestation with lights and sounds because it has more details and doesn't fall apart all the time so far.
Minutes after receiving Lego Space Police Raid as a Christmas gift, my son started putting it together. He specifically requested Lego Space Police on his Christmas list after seeing this product at a chain bookstore. When I returned to the store, they were sold out, and I decided to search Amazon.com and was so pleased to have found this item online! The item was sent quickly and in excellent condition. Thank you!
This is a neat set at a good price. The figs are cool and, let's face it, those are an important part of the set! I can live with and work around the canopy's square tip, and the other pieces included are pretty nifty too.
Overall I am quite happy with the set ... we get an inexpensive way to snag some minifigs and some handy (although hardly new) spaceship parts. Most parts are black and white, which I find useful for a wide variety of spacecraft crafting.
