My son has come to love the "City" Lego series. He is 5 years old, and has no trouble building these all by himself! The directions are very easy and clear to read! I highly recommend anything by the Lego company, they give my son (and me), hours of fun! CPS
It is a wonderful fire set that has a lot of playability, a perfect mate for the new 2013 firetruck. The truck has a very good design and when you see alive is better than pictures. It has a realistic design. The house is simple but adds playability to the set.
For kids, this set is almost perfect. All that is needed is a cat, dog, or even a person to "rescue" from the burning building. For adults, there are a few useful pieces in the set but the fact that all three firefighters have the exact same torso is a small letdown. The giant flame pieces were new to me (as were a lot of the pieces on the firetruck such as the ladder).
