I used this kit to make my own advent calendar for my kids, they enjoyed finding different mini figures and playing with it as a set when they got them all. Fun set!

As with all people packs, Fun Fair is a good value compared to buying Minifigure blind bags. However, the characters you get in this kit are not particularly detailed. There are some interesting Minifigure pieces though. But $49.99 is a lot to pay to get a few rarer torsos and faces. I liked Outdoor Adventures more than Fun Fair by a long shot. The Minifigures were more detailed, there were less child characters, and a lot of interesting accessories.

Although the People Pack sets seem expensive for what they are, you do get 14 Minifigures, which are the most costly part of LEGO sets. If you compare them Collectable Minifigures, at £2.99 a pack, the People Pack actually works out decent value for money. That's without taking into account the minibuilds as well. This particular pack has a nice selection of characters and new parts. It's especially useful for those who have a city layout in the works and even more useful for all those Fairground sets being released this year.

This is a fun set of 14 minifigures and five mini-builds that depict fairground attractions. In terms of new elements, the new Bicycle Frame and the small Propeller are interesting elements although perhaps not a generically useful as some of the new elements we see.

This set is the perfect addition to your Creator Expert Fairground display. The small vignettes are all very well done, and great fun. The minifigs all exude personality and include some great new parts and prints, the girl's hair in particular.
