While the 4x4 truck has a good colour scheme and some nice features for the scale (I especially like the pieces suggesting mirrors), what's more attractive about the set is the selection of accessories. Between the truck, kayak, camera, and frog, there is great potential for play experience. This is a great set to play with, both indoors and outdoors. It really has everything you need to have a little adventure, driving out to the water, kayaking around, and taking pictures of things. I like the sets with cameras as they encourage you to use a real camera with them, taking real pictures of the set and things the LEGO adventurer might photograph in the environment. This is a smooth, easy, and satisfying build. The only challenge here is getting the six stickers to align perfectly.

What a fun little truck. It is a bit low on parts count, but that is because you get a big ol kayak.The truck looks great. It is tall with some big wheels, ready for off road driving. It looks even better with a the kayak on top.Along with the kayak and truck, the driver comes equipped with a life jacket. On his kayak trip he takes along his nice camera. And on that trip he will find a cute green frog.A nice little set with a fun easy truck build, and just enough extras to start the story. Time for a weekend putting.

60240 Kayak Adventure is an excellent set. The off-road truck looks marvellous and I am pleased to see another colour for the kayak, particularly in a set which only costs £9.99 or $9.99 so offers good value. I am similarly delighted to see the updated life jacket component in a smaller set as this piece represents a vast improvement over its predecessor.
