Our five year old and his older siblings still enjoy playing with Duplo so we purchased this for his birthday. The truck is a good size - approximately 8 1/2" long, 2 3/4" wide and 4 1/4" high. The white cab does NOT come off or hinge like the fire engine but the green "crate" on the back is removable. With 6 wheels, this makes for a sturdy truck.Underneath the truck there is an insert for a six block so if your zoo truck should 'break down' then you can fix it onto the back of another truck. Great for adding some extra imagination to play.Having had the lioness (female) for many years, it is nice now to have the male lion. Unlike the lioness from the zoo, the male does not have a movable head joint.All in all, very pleased with this product. A great addition to all the Duplo we already have.
