I have to agree with user "Nick's" comment, this set would have been great if it came with a Nick Fury minifig, but I guess Lego will introduce a new set with him, maybe? Hopefully? Along with Agent Coleson? Hey, you never know. Anyway, this set is okay. I only really got it for the Hulk fig since it's the only set that he comes in. The blue jet has a neat feature that pops the cockpit glass off like the pilot is going to eject. The helicarrier lab is a little underwhelming (from an adult perpective) , although the kids did use it for a few days constantly before moving on to something else.
I really enjoyed the whole build process. There's a lot of nice parts in there.
Overall, Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout is a decent set and the minifigures are great. Like the other Super Heroes sets, they are the main draw of the set. I enjoyed building it and the modularity of the sections gives the set more playability.
This is a nice set but the duplication of minifigs with other sets is a little disappointing.
Buy it, if you haven't already. If you have and you love it as much as I do, buy it again. As always a sale is preferable, but I think this set is worth paying full price on. If you can manage to score it at 20% off it's right in line for those who like to beat their dead horse on the golden ratio. I'll call it now and say this is easily the clear winner for me in 2012 sets for a great balance over all aspects from play to value.
