The LEGO Legends of Chima: Crocodile Legend Beast from LEGO is a 122-piece set that builds the Crocodile Legend Beast and Cragger minifigure. The crocodile has poseable joints, large teeth, and lots of nice details thanks to the decals. The Cragger minifigure comes with a CHI-powered sword and translucent CHI shield.
For $70 we should have someone here to put it together for the kid. Are you kidding me??? Box was crushed and the product itself is NOT worth $70....Rip off.....do NOT BUY.
The crocodile largely only moves his feet on the horizontal plane and it is only the presence of a boat stud on his belly (presumably included to allow kids to slide the crocodile across the floor more easily, but it doesn't really add anything to the shape or realism of the model) that gives some space for the feet to have a little vertical movement. It's no fault of the design, and is simply caused by the effect the shape of a crocodile has; but this isn't the most thrilling use of the new ball and cup connectors.
This then is another very satisfying Legend Beast, and apart from the minifig re-use issue, I have no complaints. MOCers will find much to like about it, what with the new parts and olive green, although it does contain only two of the four types of micro-joint.
When I went to the LEGO Store, I had wanted to pick up the lion or wolf Legend Beasts, but they were both out of stock. I had to settle for the crocodile, but I really don't feel like I ended up settling at all. It's a cool-looking set, and when I'm done displaying it the parts should prove very useful. At $10 for 122 pieces, I'd say it's a pretty good value as well. I'm glad I ended up adding it to my collection!
