My son loves legos, zombies, skeletons (pretty much anything halloween) so this was a perfect fit. He wants the whole collection now of course. Quite an extensive setup for a $27 set. Lots of fun figures and moving parts. We did connect with the app which worked pretty well. He's not quite old enough to understand the game (he just turned 5), but for 7-12 year olds I think they would really enjoy the app experience as well.

We like how this allows kids to keep one hand in both the physical and digital worlds. LEGO building is still part of the play experience, but the app enhances and extends the play.

My 7 year old son took about 90 mins to build this...probably because he was playing with it so much along the way. This is a cool set even without the app. I love the moving tree and so does he. He also likes the keys for the door and the hidden skeleton. He showed me the skeleton and said, "Look Mom! This is so cool!"

For $50, it's not too bad. I still think it could have been a little cheaper, maybe around the $45 mark, but you get some nice elements and an enjoyable build experience that ends up in a good looking little set.

It may be a small set, but it's fun to build and has some nice features. I really like how the black gate fencing is used to connect each section of the graveyard, without looking like its a just there to connect them. The use of leaves and vines help to give the set a more spooky feel and the tree is best part of the whole set.

Overall, 70420 Graveyard Mystery is a Hidden Side set that is fun with or without the app, which will be helpful for fans who don't have the technology to support the software. At £24.99 it is also extremely good value for money, a great way to get the main characters and should be high on the list for fans considering this new theme.

It's a small but decent set. It has a good graveyard atmosphere. With a few small mods, this can easily fit within a LEGO city, so even without the app it has value to me.

70420 Graveyard Mystery certainly matches the high standard established by earlier spooky themes, furthering my anticipation for the entire Hidden Side range! The minifigures are outstanding and I like the detailed graveyard environment too, particularly around the haunted tree which looks magnificent. Its possession function is equally appealing and the app integration provides further play value.
