This is probably the best set I've ever gotten. Overall, it's very pleasing to the eye, as LEGO has achieved the look of a Chinese temple. The doors are amazing. One thing with the doors is that it is only easy to open them from the front of the building, and only easy to close from the side. But this is a small matter. The traps are very good, and the trap that sends the minifigure out of the building is simple but very satisfying. But the problem with it is that it is too small to let Nya (because of her hair) or Garmadon (because of his hat) slide out. And any ninja holding a weapon will not be able to slide out. The rooms are a little on the small side, though the main room is nice and tall and you can even cram all the ninjas in there. I also love how the statue has two faces so that it can become alive. This offers hours of fun with all the traps, and every time I walk by it it pleases me because it is so nice looking. One thing though. I don't know what happens in the movie, but where is the ultimate ultimate weapon? It doesn't come with the set. Overall, my favourite set.
We had so much fun building this set! So many pieces and creative aspects of the build! Love the minifigs (characters) and the robot/stone dog temple guardians are really neat! The 4 or 5 levels "floors" of this building make the playability factor really high!I saw this movie with my niece and nephew so we had to have this set! My nephew says that he's a real ninja, loves everything ninja/Ninjago, and has to collect all of these fun sets!We would definitely recommend you check this set out and we thought it was worth every penny! Lego makes so many fun and exciting things to do together. :)
So, this is a very good set. The minifigure selection is good, the Temple looks magnificent, the playability is great (though slightly hampered by the shallowness of the whole thing), and the value is fantastic.
I really like the Temple of the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon. I really liked building it, and I think kids will get a hoot out of playing with it. This set is also a great value, even if you are buying it at full price. You also get a number of well designed Minifigures. The brick:fig ratio is a little high, and the set needs a little modification before it would fit nicely into a city layout. But, overall, I do recommend this set.
The Temple of the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon is one of the, ahem, ultimate ultimate playsets to ever emerge from the NINJAGO theme. It is packed with play possibilities and will delight anyone who gets it. However, its place in the price scale is also its place in the theme – bronze medal status behind the two larger sets.

Whether you buy this set at full price or find it on sale, pick it up. The Chinese guardian lions are fantastic builds, and once built, the temple façade is satisfying and lovely to look at.
