This is easily one of my favorite Ninjago sets I have ever built. The build of the set is very good, and the final product is a gorgeous, and haunting temple. The figure selection is excellent featuring Lloyd,Cole,Mr.E, Chopper Maroon, Princess Harumi, Hutchins, and the Mystery Baby. Chopper Maroon, Princess Harumi, and Hutchins are all exclusive to the set. Technically the Mystery Baby is too, but I believe the parts used to build can be found in other sets. If you are a fan of the Sons of Garmadon season of Ninjago, then this is a must have set!
I picked this up during a sale for $50, I was torn between the Quake Mech - 70632 and this and even though the mech has a larger piece count I went with this because of the more and better minifigs. I'm glad I did because I was not disappointed. For a reasonable price you get 7 amazing minifigs, a bunch of of them exclusives, a baby and a skeleton. The building is nicely designed, has some play features and relatively easy to put it together. I really like the masks and the overall design of the building. Unfortunately you get a bunch of stickers, some of them quite large so at least you get a better chance of applying them evenly. Overall I'm satisfied, for the price you get a great selection of minifigs and a cool playset. Worth the buy.
Wow, I kinda like this set quite a bit! The build looks very oriental and elegant, with a great color scheme. The minifigure selection is good too, with a great, wide selection of main characters. Playability is alright, though the floorspace does limit the playability a fair bit, but I like the transformation feature.

The set looks great but I do feel a little underwhelmed by some of these features. The transforming roof is not that exciting, and the spider prison and trap doors are a bit tight. It's tough to get the mini figures into these cramped spaces. The Temple of Resurrection is missing some of the unique, and/or whimsical elements that many of the other Ninjago sets have.
My overall thoughts? Go buy it! Or rather, find the best discount and then buy it. I got it 20% off at Target which seems to be the new normal price for this set. The minifigure selection is wonderful, the build process keeps you interested throughout, and even if you just want a parts pack, this set is a winner.
