To conclude, the LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 9 has blown my mind away and hit beyond my 'wow' expectations. It can be considered the most 'legendary' series, ever released so far especially given the mixed reactions in Series 8, in the LEGO Collectable Minifigures standards.
I've got a cutie pie who's just CRAZY about Halloween...so I've been on a mission to collect as many Halloween-type Minifigures as I can for this Halloween... This is a perfect addition to my creepy collection!! His eyeball is two-sided, too!!...he has the one that's pictured and on the other side is another one that's kind of closed....CREEPY!!! Now....the eye is the shape/size of a Minifigure head and then the Cyclops "head" is put on over that, so you don't see the other eye unless you position it to be seen... Perfect!
I, along with many LEGO fans, were excited to be getting the minifigures that were teased. All the minifigures in the set were spot on. There really wasn't one that I didn't like. My favorite ones were the Battle Mech, Chicken Suit Guy, Cyclops, and Mr. Good and Evil. There were also five female minifigures in Series 9 and that continues a tradition of five females in a set beginning since Series 6. There were also some changes with this Series, mainly with the minifigure distribution. You now only get two full sets in a full, unopened retail box instead of the usual three from previous series. This makes it harder for collectors to complete their sets, which drives high prices for some minifigures on the secondary market.
