I would say that Series 2 is a slight improvement from Series 1 (71005) with a majority of new characters being introduced. The only downside I have is including the core Simpsons family again albeit with new outfits. Plus we wouldn't have a Simpsons theme without the family to anchor the sets.

Willie is a fan favourite and is a long awaited addition to the LEGO Simpsons Minifigure family and should be a popular minifig with Simpsons fans. The only thing that felt a bit off with this minifgure is his accessory. Personally, I think a shovel or even a rake would've been a much better choice. There's no existing LEGO rake, so even a pitchfork would've been much better than a plunger.

I am certainly of the opinion that this series is an improvement over the last one, where one or two minifigures simply didn't capture their on screen counterpart's appearance very well. This time every figure looks great to me, although I am struggling to pick an absolute favourite. Waylon Smithers, Edna Krabappel and Professor Frink are definite contenders.
