LEGO Minifigures - Disney Series 2 - Sealed Box

On the whole, I would said this is a remarkable release despite of the disappointing distribution ratio of 2 complete sets in a sealed box which resulted in a large number of spares of other characters. more less

As a whole, I think Series 2 is a worthy follow-up to Series 1 but doesn't quite match it in terms of the character lineup. I have to applaud LEGO and Disney for digging a little deeper in to the vault, gracing us with Vintage Mickey and Minnie, the Ducktales family, Jack Skellington and even Chip n' Dale, which aren't typically the first names that come to mind when you think Disney characters. more less

The lasting impression I have from them is that the character designs are largely excellent, but some of the accessories leave a bit wanting, especially in comparison to other CMF waves. There's no doubt if these sell well that we'll see more Disney minifigures down the road (and who are we kidding, these will fly off the shelves). more less

Disney offers an outstanding selection of classic characters which might have inspired minifigures and this range is impressive, although the continued absence of Goofy and Pluto is disappointing. However, these versions of Mickey and Minnie both look fantastic while the ducks correspond exactly with their animated counterparts and should prove popular among fans of the DuckTales series. more less

For the most part, they're brilliant, and I can't wait to see some MOCs with them included. These will go crazy, given they're Disney, and so I'm relatively sure these will result in a series 3 Disney CMFs. more less

Overall I find this collection quite interesting: some figures are elaborate, while others are quite plain, but in either case this suits the depiction of the characters in their respective film or television appearances. Overall it is quite strong. more less

I quite enjoyed the first series of LEGO Disney Minifigures, but I have to say when the second series was first revealed I didn't think much of the character line-up. But once seeing them up close I actually quite like them. more less

The LEGO Disney Series 2 Collectible Minifigures (71024) is a mixed bag for me but it does include a lot of good characters that fans would want. Again my favorite is Scrooge McDuck but there's a few others that I do enjoy such as Hades and Jack. However, there's also a few characters that are somewhat lazy on LEGO's part including Mickey and Minnie along with Huey, Dewey, and Louie and the chipmunks. more less
