Overall I'm happy with the six characters I found so far and the details in them. Violin kid is perfect for the music shop in Assembly Square or to perform next to the fountain, and airplane girl is goes nicely with the Corner Garage and also with the space fan girl from previous series. Shipwreck survivor was another character I liked and could be also some kind of hippie, if needed. Second facial expression would had been nice to have. It would be nice to collect more cabaret singers and create a small samba carnival to our Lego city. Unfortunately the cabaret singer I found was missing the shining skirt. I already sent separate message to Lego. This was the first time I was missing a piece from CMF set. Pug costume guy reminds me of the German Shepherd set I bought. Beekeeper's costume and the honeycomb were very nice. Next I think I need to build somewhere few bee boxes for him. The costume could be also used as some clean room or hazard area costume.

You're really paying for a LEGO Dolphin that comes with a Paddle Surfer accessory, and that's really okay.

If the assortment size of an even dozen holds, Series 21 marks a new era for CMFs. And with even distribution in the cases, it's a good thing for fans, who will have an easier time finding their favorite figs or getting a complete series, since all figures will be equally available. The figures themselves don't represent a departure from the status quo, but Series 21 is a solid entry to the CMF lineup with lots of interesting figures whether you like history, whacky costumes, sci-fi fantasy, or just getting more fun occupations.

As much as I enjoy the licensed series, the original characters are a little more fun, which is undoubtedly the case here. They also seem to be the source for some great new pieces and accessories. Many of which, filter into other LEGO sets. It's difficult to choose any particular stand out character from this series Minifigures, but I do like the various accessories included with each character. They offer a mix of new pieces and current elements used in cool ways. Although we lose 4 characters this time around and if rumours are correct, this will be the case with future series, I think it's a good decision.

My favourite minifigures include the Shipwreck Survivor, the Ancient Warrior and the Alien, in some cases based upon their impressive accessories while others simply feature tremendous detail. Reducing the number of minifigures has certainly not affected their quality and provides children with an easier opportunity to collect every character before the next series is released. On that basis, I am delighted with these Collectable Minifigures!
