The price for the set is reasonable for the size. My son received this for Christmas and loved it. He worked on the set for hours without paying any attention to the Television. He loves the movement of the head and legs. Overall, a great lego set and gift.
NINJAGO animals have proven increasingly appealing during recent years and 71719 Zane's Mino Creature definitely includes impressive detail, matching its numerous predecessors. The head appears particularly intricate and I like the rocky texture that enshrouds this entire model, befitting its environment within the Skull Dungeons. The head-butting function is enjoyable too and is integrated almost seamlessly.
At $49.99 US for 616 pieces, this set comes in at just over 8 cents per part. This makes it one of the more expensive “part kit" Ninjago sets in this wave, but still a decent value. There are four minifigures, a bunch of rare and unique parts, and a reasonably fun build. Less great is the feeling that this set isn't quite finished, and that it doesn't really fit into the “game experience" sub-theme well at all. For me, this one is the least attractive of the summer sets. It's still good, but it pales in comparison to the Fire Stone Mech or Wu's Battle Dragon.
