Ultimately, this set is everything that a battle pack should be. A simple little ship and generic figures that you can use to build up an army. Yes, these are the new-style Stormies, with a Rebels bend, but the ship has sailed for the old simple designs. See, my fellow AFOLs, we are now the “I remember when…" crowd of old people when it comes to minifigs. But if you want multiple Stormtroopers, and why wouldn't you, this is the easiest source to get them.

This little set is awesome for the money. It doesn't appear to be as exciting as, say, an X-wing fighter, but it has a lot of great little details: 1) Of course you get 4 stormtroopers, whose helmets have nice detailing, who can stand on the transport and have ramp platforms that raise up and down. 2) Each one of their blasters actually shoots, and shoots very far! This was an awesome surprise, but of course is meant for slightly older kids, as the pieces are very small and can easily be lost (my 4.5yo is just old enough I think). 3) The transport itself comes with manually shooting missiles, and a cool slide-in storage area for extra blaster ammo. And the transport itself feels solidly built. All in all, a great toy for your star wars lego collection.

My final thought... run and don't walk the next day these babies are on sale. As a Canadian AFL, there aren't that many sets that I feel are of such good value even at regular retail price. If you like the Rebels Troopers, now's your chance to really expand your imperial army.

This set is from the animated series, Star Wars: Rebels, and lets kids recreate scenes from the show, or come up with their own Star Wars adventures. This is also a great set for building out existing Star Wars LEGO troop collections or for starting a new one.

Since the release of this set I have probably purchased 6 or 7 because of how great of an army builder it is. It's great to be able to get 4 regular stormtroopers in a cheap set, and I wish Lego would do this more with other minifigures like regular clone troopers. Minifigures: In this set you get 4 of the same stormtrooper minifigure. These troopers look very nice and have good printing throughout the whole figure that accurately portraits the stormtroopers you see on Star Wars Rebels. Each trooper comes with a stud shooter blaster that can shoot a stud when the mechanism is pressed. I have always despised these blasters, as they just don't look very good or Star Wars accurate to me, but if you are buying for a younger person this probably won't make a difference. The Imperial Troop Transport: The set itself is very small compared to the Imperial Troop Transport we see in Star Wars Rebels. In the show this transport has cockpit that can fit atleast 4 people, a troop holding area that probably holds a dozen troopers, and prisoner holding cells on the exterior. However with this set there is no cockpit to put figures, no troop holding area inside, and the exterior prison areas are instead where your supposed to put the stormtroopers as they ride on the transport. The middle area is used to hold a crate with extra studs for the stud shooting blasters, and it easily slides in and out of the transport. I do like that the transport can actually hold all 4 stormtroopers, as most of the time with these battle packs you can only fit 1 or 2 figures in the actual set. Price: This set has the latest $12.99 price tag for battle pack type sets. This isn't that bad of a price considering this set contains 141 pieces. Conclusion: Overall this is a great set to get if you are looking to get a bunch of stormtroopers. As I stated in the beginning, I have purchased many of this set, allowing me to have quite a few stormtroopers. The troop transport isn't very accurate to the show, but is pretty well built for how small of a set this is. I do hope that sometime soon Lego decides to do a bigger version of the Imperial Troop Transport that is more accurate to what we see in Star Wars Rebels. I would definitely recommend this set if you are interested in Star Wars Rebels, or just looking for a cheap way to get stormtroopers.

I think that the model is pretty reasonable for a battle pack, and the figures are good! Price is usual Battle Pack stuff, but the model feels relatively substantial, especially in comparison to some other battle packs like 75132. Easily the best battle pack of 2015.

The Imperial Troop Transport itself is not a bad little model, which I think is best described as a 'giant Microfighter' version of the vehicle. It is easily recognisable if you are familiar with the source material and is fun to play with, particularly since it glides very well on the six 2x2 slider pieces underneath.
