This impressive looking shuttle can be used to recreate scenes from The Force Awakens or fans can imagine and stage their own First Order flights. [...] The directions for this set are good, however, since the majority of the LEGO bricks and pieces are grey, the directions can be a little confusing at times.

This is a fun 'swooshing' set, accompanied with six celebrated minifigures from the new Episode 7.
While this is not a bad set, I find the wing inaccuracy and the light color quite a bad thing. The model itself is not particularly exciting and the figures aren't that compelling either. The price is okay but this set is not that good.
This is a very hard set to rate, in the end. I liked the minifigs, but outside of the officer, the Hux, and our Stormtroopers 80s shoulder accessory, the rest are available (in some form) elsewhere. The ship, as a representation of Kylo Ren's shuttle, isn't all that great, but as a ship is actually pretty cool.
I like this set a lot more than I had anticipated, although it is far from perfect. The central section looks absolutely brilliant from the outside and I like the silhouette of the craft from the side but there are one or two areas which look a little unfinished to me, most notably the interior faces of the wings. If just a few of these little problems had been rectified, I think this would be a much more interesting set.
