Recommendation: yes 5 / 5 from 19 reviews

Size, shape, stance... Doesnt get any better. General Grievous is the best figure of the year. The figure features moving joints even on the shoulders. The figure is among the biggest LEGO has ever released, and this one excells at bringing to you the absolute potencial of the CCBS system. Pretty much everything is attached to ball joints, but the building felt very creative and fresh. The mix between black and gray pieces allow for a varied color scheme throughout the figure, while few tan armor plates really knit the set together. For $35 you get a big, heavy, highly resemblant and very well designed figure. The only flaw this set has comes from its ankles. Because of the way they are designed, the feet are fixed to the lower legs, greatly reducing posability. It bothers me that this small flaw shows up every time you try to stand the figure, and it annoys me even more when you can solve it with 1 additional piece on both sides. Besides this small problem, the figure is perfect. Get it! Once you build it you will understand how and why this is the best set of its kind. And how can you not, General Grievous is one of the coolest villains of the Star Wars universe.

A very well interpenetration of one of the most iconic villains ever, the building process was very fun, and the fact that this vader is made up from Bionic'ish Lego parts makes him look very aggressive, as if he's some sort of an "armored Vader", it just makes him look very cool in my opinion, and the size of the final build is great whether to play with or just have on display, I highly recommend this to any star wars and or Lego fan! (I included a photo to show what the final thing looks like if anyone is interested)

This LEGO General Grievous figure can be used to recreate scenes from the Star Wars movies and animated series, or fans can create their own evil plots. The articulation and large size makes the figure great for posing and displaying in a collection.

If you are a fan of Grievous, this set is a must have. He is a great representation of the character, and I feel that for his price tag (when you take the price hike due to it being Star Wars into mind) he is well worth the price. I would have felt the figure would be more complete had we gotten his cape since it's a fairly major accessory, but even without it he is a great set. There are some slight issues with posing him due to the odd shaping of his legs, but if you don't mind spending some time to get him in the perfect position he is a wonderful display piece, and I hope this is a sign that we will continue to get these larger scaled CCBS figures in the future since it has been quite a while since getting something of this scale.

I expected to like this Battle Figure but never anticipated just how fantastic it would be! The scale of the model is absolutely incredible, as is the level of detail included from the brilliantly accurate head all the way down to the clawed feet. Admittedly, some liberties have been taken with regard to how closely sections of the model resemble the character in the film, but these are hardly noticeable when you have the figure on display, such is the intricacy of the model.

If you can bite the bullet on the price (you're paying about 19 cents a piece, which is almost double what I consider an appropriate parts-to-price ratio), I think 75112 is definitely a set worth picking up. It's an accurate, stable, beautiful-looking set with barely any design flaws. And it's LARGE. Basically I'd recommend this version of General Grievous to any Star Wars fan with disposable income.
