We love Legos and Star Wars so are always building our collection. He hasn't opened this yet, as it's a gift, but in our experience, these are easy to build with clear instructions. I also like how they come with extras of the smaller pieces.

I think this isn't a bad set, but it isn't too good either. The build, whilst recognizable, looks overly chibi, especially given the stubby wings. In addition to this, unlike the U-wing microfighter, the minifigure included isn't too impressive. If you like TIEs you should probably buy this, but otherwise I think other microfighters are better.
